Neurocysticercosis

Multiple well-defined hypodense cystic lesions in bilateral cerebral hemispheres with internal hyperdense foci representing scolex giving the cyst with dot appearance. Few of the lesions show calcific foci.
Features are suggestive of neurocysticercosis in varying stages.
Case Discussion
Neurocysticercosis is caused by infection with Taenia solium. Most commonly it presents with seizures.
