Presentation

Known case of neurofibromatosis type 2.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
mri

Multiple enhancing nodular lesions spread throughout all the spinal canal and going through some vertebral foramina

Large abnormal signal heterogeneous enhancing mass lesion measuring about 60*70*95 mm originated at the thecal sac of L2-L3 level on the right side with extension through the right neural foramina and widening of its causing to lateral displacement of the right kidney

At limited cuts of the brain, there is a 20*25 mm abnormal enhancing extra-axial lesion along with the left cerebellopontine angle. 

Case Discussion

The constellation of findings are consistent with Neurofibromatosis type 2.
