Presentation
This 18-year-old female has a history of a lymphoproliferative disorder. A lytic lesion in the proximal tibia was demonstrated on a plain film (not shown). MRI and CT were performed for further evaluation.
Patient Data
CT scan shows a lytic expansile lesion at the proximal third of the right tibia which has scalloped sclerotic margin and narrow zone of transition.
It is oriented with the long axis of the bone. There is no periosteal reaction. CT scan also shows an interruption of the cortex, which can be misinterpreted as cortical destruction.

Case Discussion
Elongated, lobulated and sclerotic lesion centered on the cortex of the proximal tibia. This is a characteristic appearance of a non-ossifying fibroma.
