Presentation
IVDU on bacteremia and lung septic emboli. Persistent neck tenderness.
Patient Data
The cervical spine vertebral bodies have normal height, alignment, and marrow signal. The intervertebral disc spaces appear normal, with no protrusions. The spinal canal and intervertebral foramina are capacious. The cord has normal morphology and signal intensity. No areas of restricted diffusion or abnormal contrast enhancement. Pre and paravertebral soft tissues appear normal.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates a normal MRI of the cervical spine with sequences compounding a dedicated infection protocol.
