Encapsulated fluid (45 x 36 x 15 mm - 13 cc) in the posterior elbow subcutaneous plane. Located superficial to the distal triceps tendon and ulnar olecranon process. A fluid-fluid level in the collection. No elbow joint effusion. No erosion of the adjacent ulnar cortex.
Case Discussion
The case shows post-traumatic olecranon bursitis. Fluid-fluid level is an uncommon finding.
