Fusiform enlargement of the entire course of the right optic nerve with high signal intensity on T2/FLAIR sequences and homogeneous post-contrast enhancement. It extends to the optic chiasm. Subsequent mild proptosis of the right eye globe.
Normal left optic nerve.
Case Discussion
The involvement and distribution of the lesion are most consistent with an isolated optic pathway glioma with posterior extension involving the optic chiasm.
