Evidence of swelling and mild tortuosity of the retrobulbar, intra-orbital segment of the right optic nerve is seen with enhancement on post-contrast sequences. The right optic nerve measures about 6.5 mm in thickness compared to 4.6 mm thickness of the contralateral side.
Case Discussion
The imaging features are likely of optic neuritis. The bulkiness and enhancement of the right optic nerve are well seen on coronal T2 and coronal T1+contrast sequences.
