Presentation

Painful nodule in the proximal aspect of the palm. No definite trauma. Referred for ultrasound evaluation of lesion.

Patient Data

Age: 60 yrs
Gender: Female
ultrasound

A well-defined heterogeneously hypoechoic avascular lesion is noted just superficial to muscle.

No calcification / cystic changes within.

Surgical excision -  Hematoma.
