Case Discussion

Pathology-proven pancreatic endocrine tumor (insulinoma).

Insulinoma is the most common type of pancreatic endocrine tumor, usually present as a small well-defined hypervascular mass that may be found anywhere in the pancreas. Occasionally insulinomas may show early but transient ring enhancement. 10% are in association with MEN type I, 10% are multiple, and 10% may be malignant.
