Case Discussion

The usage of a PDA occluder device is a widely acceptable alternative to surgical closure for small to moderate PDAs for pediatric populations 1. Recent strides in the technology have supported the use of such devices in the occlusion of large PDAs 2. Conservative management of PDAs leads to better health outcomes in pediatric and neonatal populations 3.
