Presentation

Right flank pain. For further evaluation of right-sided hydronephrosis detected by previous ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
Fluoroscopy

No evidence of radiopaque shadow along the urinary tract system on the control image.

Small shadow of the right kidney with evidence of delayed faint nephrogram and relatively delayed filling of the pelvicalyceal system of the right kidney.

There is evidence of marked dilatation of the right renal calyces and ballooning of the right renal pelvis, with non-visualization of the right ureter even on delayed images.

Normal contrast uptake and excretion of the left kidney without hydronephrosis or hydroureter.

Normal outline of the urinary bladder with mild amount of postvoiding residual urine.
