Nodular lesion of grey matter signal intensity along occipital horn of right lateral ventricle and mildly bulging into it.
Posterior aspect of septum pellucidum is not well visualized with prominence of posterior bodies of bilateral lateral ventricles.
However, corpus callosum, optic chiasma and visualized segments of both optic nerves appear normal, essentially ruling out sept-optic dysplasia.
Case Discussion
Findings are consistent with periventricular nodular grey matter heterotopia with partial agenesis of septum pellucidum.
