Images of Lat ankle ligaments injury related to ankle trauma are not uploaded.
This is a short-axis image across the calcaneum distal to the lateral malleolus level. A tubercle from the calcaneum separates peroneus brevis and peroneus longus tendons. The height of the tubercle is about 5 mm. The peroneus brevis tendon lies to the dorsal side of the tubercle. The peroneus longus tendon shows anisotropy.
Case Discussion
A patient with ankle trauma shows an incidental finding of peroneal tubercle hypertrophy.
