Left leg pain and tenderness following a motor car accident.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

AP and lateral radiographic images of displaced comminuted distal fibular and tibial fractures with intra-articular fracture of the tibia and lateral malleolus fracture.

Plate and screw fixation was done.

Case Discussion

This is a case of distal tibial and distal fibular fractures with intra-articular fracture of the tibia and lateral malleolus fracture secondary to motor car accident.

This type of fracture is named pilon fracture.
