Straightening of the cervical lordosis with normal alignment.
No fractures.

Case Discussion
Ponticulus posticus is an abnormal bony bridge located in the posterior arch of the atlas in relation to the passage of the vertebral artery1, 2. Therefore it may have a clinical relevance related to the possible compression of the vertebral artery. Variable symptoms have been described such as vertigo, neck pain, migraine, shoulder pain and diplopia3.
