Presentation
History of neonatal ischemic insult with progressive motor symptoms and seizures.
Patient Data
Right temporoparietooccipital cortical and subcortical area of multicystic encephalomalacia and gliosis with negative mass effect upon the right lateral ventricle. Ipsilateral loss of volume of the right cerebral peduncle.
A notable increased calvarial thickening on the right side and increased size of the right frontal sinus may point to possible Dyke Davidoff Masson syndrome
Case Discussion
Multicystic encephalomalacia as a resultant of old ischemia with subsequent grade III Wallerian degeneration of the right cerebral peduncle.
