Presentation

Knee pain after a motor vehicle accident.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Avulsion fracture of the PCL insertion within the posterior lateral tibial condyle with underlying marrow edema signal.

Bone marrow edema at the middle weight bearing of the lateral femoral condyle.

Intact ACL and collateral ligaments. Intact medial and lateral meniscus.

Minimal joint effusion.
