Posterior urethral valves

The fetal urinary bladder is distended, with mural trabeculations and thickening of the wall. The posterior urethra was seen connecting with the fetal urinary bladder creating the keyhole sign.
The renal calyceal system is bilaterally dilated.
There was no pocket of amniotic fluid evident.
There were no other abnormalities noted. (Images not uploaded).
Case Discussion
The features are most consistent with posterior urethral valves.
Posterior urethra valves is a congenital anomaly where abnormal mucosal folds obstruct the posterior urethra, leading to urinary tract obstruction.
