Prolapsed soft tissue lesion at the cervical canal and upper vagina, with a long stalk attached to the middle of the anterior endometrium. It shows isointense signal on T1 and mild hyperintense signal on T2. Intact junctional zone and no myometrial lesions.
Case Discussion
Prolapsing endometrial lesions can be pedunculated submucosal leiomyoma and endometrial polyp. It's clear in this case that the lesion arises from the anterior endometrial stripe with a long pedicle in keeping with a prolapsed endometrial polyp.
