A well-defined area of lucency at the lateral aspect of the humeral neck simulates a pseudocyst of the humerus. However, the lateral view demonstrates cortical erosion of the posterolateral humeral neck consistent with an aggressive lesion. The patient had a known history of malignancy and this was an osseous metastasis.
There is an old rib fracture of the left 5th rib.
