Patchy ground glass opacities are seen at both lungs dominantly at upper lobes, interspersed with pulmonary areas of normal appearance, consistent with spared pulmonary lobules. Additionally, intra-lobular septal thickening is super imposed on some ground glass opacities especially at right upper lobe and causing crazy paving appearance.
Case Discussion
Proven case of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), which is a lung disease characterized by an abnormal intra-alveolar accumulation of surfactant-derived lipoproteinaceous material.
