Presentation

The patient presented with dementia.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
mri
  • well-defined extra-axial dural-based right frontal mass

  • isointense to gray matter on T1 and T2

  • causing a mass effect in the form of midline shift (7mm) and compression of the ipsilateral lateral ventricle

  • shows avid homogenous enhancement

  • associated with edema in the right frontal lobe

Case Discussion

MR signs of extra-axial tumor seen in this case are CSF cleft and white matter buckling signs.

This patient is going to undergo a craniotomy.
