Right middle lobe consolidation with loss of normal silhouette of the right heart border.
Case Discussion
The patient's consolidation can be confidently localized to the right middle lobe because of the loss of the normally sharply defined right heart border where the soft tissue density right atrium abuts the air density right middle lobe. The lateral view confirms involvement of the right middle lobe.
