Presentation

Incidental findings were noted during the workup for metastasis.

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

A few concentric, alternating hypo- and hyperdense ring artefacts are observed in the brain parenchyma, centered on the left high parietal region, centrum semi-ovale, and thalamus. No mass effect is noted, and there is no midline shift.

The current CT findings reveal ring artefacts, indicating a fault in the CT gantry as detailed.
