Marked anterior soft tissue swelling of the arm in the region of the biceps brachii muscle belly. Elbow joint alignment is normal. No fracture or joint effusion.
Case Discussion
A bedside US confirmed distal biceps tendon rupture prior to the X-ray, which was performed to exclude associated fracture (which is rare).
