Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
ct

Normal intracranial appearances.

The visualized paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are normally aerated.

Multiple part calcified sebaceous cysts on the scalp, the largest 3.1 cm overlying the right occiput.

Case Discussion

A rather florid example of sebaceous cysts (epidermal inclusion cysts) in the scalp. A common incidental finding, but rarely of this size and number.
