Presentation

Painless distal of left leg swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

A broad-based bony over-growth is seen in the medial aspect of the distal part of the fibula, at the level of the distal tibiofibular joint.

In addition, a few small soft tissue calcification foci are observed in the vicinity of the lesion, better seen on the lateral view.

Case Discussion

Features are characteristic of an osteochondroma of the distal fibula.
