Case Discussion

This patient complained of longstanding shortness of breath.

A review of echocardiography revealed shunt vascularity at the atrial septal level.

CT coronary angiography shows a rare type of atrial septal defect (sinus venosus type) with partial anomalous pulmonary venous return.

The patient's complaint is thought to stem from pulmonary hypertension secondary to the shunt.
