Soleus muscle tear

Fibular head fracture lines are seen associated with adjacent bone marrow edema/bruise.
Edema at the soleus muscle and partial tear with hematoma formation are seen at the lateral side of muscle also are seen.
Case Discussion
The soleus muscle is one of the calf muscles in the posterosuperior superficial compartment of the leg which sits deep to the gastrocnemius muscle. It is much bigger than gastrocnemius and is the primary plantar flexor.
