Spontaneous pneumothorax

In these frontal and lateral views we can observe a pneumothorax with air-fluid level in the right hemithorax. Normal atelectatic lung parenchyma.
Case Discussion
Its important when we see a hyperlucent hemithorax to suspect pneumothorax, which lacks blood vessels.
Don't forget the costophrenic angles. When we see an air-fluid level it suggests hydropneumothorax or hemopneumothorax.
