Case Discussion

This is a case of two stacked coins that simulate a button battery. The absence of soft tissue edema and tracheal deviation (due to the local inflammatory reaction) suggests that this may not be a button battery. However, an EGD was performed given the significant concern of imaging characteristics that fit button battery ingestion.
