Smooth focal detachment of the anterior superior labrum from the underlying glenoid at around 2 o'clock and doesn’t extend to the anterior inferior labrum. Articular-sided partial thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon.

Case Discussion

Sublabral foramen is a normal labral variant that occurs between the anterosuperior labrum and underlying glenoid at around 12 to 3 o'clock position, most commonly at 2 o'clock position, as in this case. It can be mistaken for type II SLAP lesion or anterior labral tear, but this variant has a smooth contour and has less significant displacement, as in this case.
