Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Lateral view of the knee shows a well-circumscribed opacity superficially to distal insertion of the patellar tendon, in keeping with superficial infrapatellar bursitis.

Case Discussion

Superficial Infrapatellar bursitis is inflammation of the superficial infrapatellar bursa which is located in front of distal insertion of the patellar tendon, between the tendon and the overlying skin.
