Radiographs of the left ankle show postoperative findings of talar replacement with a custom implant. There is no hardware complication.
Case Discussion
Talar replacement may be performed in cases of talar osteonecrosis or fracture. Traditionally, tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis may be performed, but talar replacement gives the advantage of preservation of ankle joint mobility.
