Left testicle has been excised and replaced by an ovoid (tesiticulform) prosthesis with hyperdense rim and water density center.  Normal right testis is of uniform soft tissue denisty.

Case Discussion

Testicular prostheses can be inserted following excision for cancer, torsion, or undescended testis. They are designed to mimic the size, shape, and feel of a normal testis. Originally designed of pure silicone, this has been replaced by a silicone envelope (hyperdense) filled with saline (water density), explaining the CT findings.
