The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- low position of the conus medullaris at L5-S1 level with a fusiform fatty lesion of high signal on T1 and T2 attenuated on STIR sequence, located below S2 level in keeping with a lipoma of the filum terminale
- hypoplastic S3 with agenesis of the rest of the sacral vertebrae and coccyx.
