Large well-defined right anterior mediastinal soft tissue attenuation mass.

Case Discussion

Thymoma is a thymic epithelial neoplasm (usually low grade) which is the most common primary adult tumor of the anterior mediastinum. CT is the best imaging modality. 90% arise within the upper anterior mediastinum. It is spherical or oval in shape with lobulated borders. There is homogeneous density and uniform enhancement post IV contrast medium.
