Dense bony mass in the hard palate, contiguous with it. Essentially a large palatal exostosis.
Case Discussion
Torus palatinus is largely a clinical diagnosis. If imaged CT is the primary modality.
It is a bony proturberance, almost always in the midline. It is commoner in certain racial groups, such as asians.
Treatment is usually conservative.
