Presentation

Long standing painless and stable swelling in the left temporal region.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Small well-defined, oval-shape heterogenous lesion containing internal calcifications, measuring about 8 x 17 mm in the superficial subcutaneous soft tissues of the left temporal scalp. No internal vascularity is seen in it on color Doppler ultrasound examination. Sonographic features are in keeping with a trichilemmal cyst.
