there is an os acromial (mesoacromial subtype) with marked edema around the mesoacromial joint line
the adjacent acromioclavicular joint remains free of arthritic changes and edema
there is no step-off deformity
no tendon tears, joint effusion, or subacromial impingement

Features of a symptomatic os acromiale (mesoacromial subtype) due to probable instability and gross motion of the unfused secondary center since there is no evidence of associated subacromial impingement nor tendon tears.
