Foley ctheter balloon inflated in penile urethra.

Case Discussion

A patient with bacteremia transferred from another hospital.
On the CT ordered to search for the origin of the bacteremia, the Foley catheter balloon was discovered in the penile urethra. This was promptly reported by the radiologist to the treating physician over the phone.
