CT scout image demonstrates reticular pattern with intervening air-filled cystic spaces in bilateral upper and mid lung zones.

Axial HRCT thorax reveals diffuse honeycombing​ pattern in bilateral upper lobes, right middle lobe, lingula and bilateral lower lobes (predominantly in right lower lobe).

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates honeycombing pattern in bilateral lung parenchyma, predominantly in subpleural and basal distribution, which is typical of usual interstitial pneumonia.
