Vertebral hemangioma

In the T12 vertebral body, there is a lesion of increased T1W and T2W signal intensity. On STIR, the hyperintense lesion is suppressed.
No evidence of vertebral fracture or collapse.
Case Discussion
Hemangiomas of the vertebral bodies are common benign vascular tumors. Most of the lesions occur in the thoracolumbar spine. The majority of the hemangiomas seen with imaging studies are asymptomatic and incidental findings, such as in this case.
