The characteristic findings of CTEPH on CTPA are:
- eccentric wall-adherent thrombi
- vascular webs
- complete occlusion (every segment needs to be accounted for when reviewing the pulmonary arteries, otherwise this can easily be missed)
- dilated main pulmonary arteries and right heart
