CT
Noncontrast CT shows diffuse hypodensity of the bilateral cerebral hemispheres with loss of white-gray matter differentiation suggesting diffuse cerebral oedema. The lateral and third ventricles are slit-like, there is diffuse effacement of the cerebral sulci (pseudo-SAH).
No intraparenchymal or subdural hematoma was noted.
Posterior fossa and brainstem are unremarkable.
