Breast hemangioma

Discussion:

A mass appearing oval or lobular in shape with well-circumscribed or microlobulated margins on mammography and sonography, and in a superficial location, makes the radiologist think of a possible diagnosis of hemangioma. Image-guided biopsy is reliable to rule out any malignant or premalignant component and therefore avoid a surgical excision.
