Terson's syndrome refers to intraocular hemorrhage associated with subarachnoid hemorrhage often seen in the acute traumatic setting.

Often requires ophthalmologic intervention to prevent vision loss. Retinal or vitreous hemorrhage due to abrupt rise in intracranial hemorrhage resulting in venous hypertension and intraocular hemorrhage.
