Forearm fractures - toddler

Discussion:

Plain film of right forearm shows three different types of fractures: bowing, torus (buckle) and complete oblique fracture.

Cases like these should raise a red flag for child abuse: the child is too young to climb a ladder, let alone to a height of 1.5 m (~5 feet), and there are forearm fractures in several locations. Fractures of different ages (not in this case) are highly suggestive of non-accidental injury.
