A homogeneously enhancing T2 isointense extra axial mass projecting superiorly from the right anterior clinoid, extending anteriorly along the planum sphenoidale, and through the right optic canal and in continuity with the optic nerve sheath to abut the posterior aspect of the cord. It has a prominent dural tail, and hyperostosis. No tumour extension into the sella or expansion of the cavernous sinus.
Features are characteristic of an optic nerve meningioma.
