Here is a case with typical CT findings of labyrinthitis ossificans correlating with the patient clinical history of SNHL. The degree of the disease is moderate to severe in CT. Associated chronic mastoiditis is presumed to be the cause of suppurative labyrinthitis with end-stage ossification (tympanogenic etiology). This disease has a poor prognosis and may complicate or preclude cochlear implantation.
